If you have a mole or rabbit problem in Cornwall or Devon you have come to the right place, we specialise in professional mole and rabbit control, and do not deal with wasps, fleas, lice, rats or any other type of pest or vermin (although we can normally find a reason to help with Grey squirrels).
This specialisation is necessary as moles and rabbits are unlike any other form of pest or vermin and the skills required are rather more testing than simply putting poison down or spraying it around, (although some companies do this with moles and rabbits too).
The commonest attempted form of rabbit control is to try and shoot them, and whilst it can have a short term effect, unless done professionally, it rarely results in any longer term or substantial drop in numbers.
We use various methods of control including long netting, ferreting, shooting, lamping and trapping. Most situations require a combination of all the above.
Control is rarely achieved in one operation, it may require many visits and is an ongoing service, the frequency of visits maybe as low as once per quarter or much more frequent, this depends on factors such the population of the rabbits, the location of warrens and any restrictions you may place on the methods of control to be employed.
It is essential to understand that ‘rabbit control’ is not ‘rabbit elimination’ even if it were possible to kill every rabbit on your land their place would be taken by rabbits from neighbouring areas. If Myxomatosis could not eradicate them, it seems unlikely that any legitimate control method would be able to do so.
Our aim is reduce rabbit numbers to an acceptable level and keep them that way...........
